COVID Policy at the Clinic
The SARS-COV2 virus and the associated COVID-19 disease have caused immense social, financial and personal disruption to the way we operate our clinic. Castleknock Cosmetic Clinic has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that our doctors and staff are ready to provide care and treatments to their patients in the safest and most efficient way possible.
We have enacted this COVID POLICY to safeguard patient and staff. You should read and accept this COVID Policy prior to booking your appointment with our clinic. Please note we no longer accept cash payment at the clinic. By ticking the check-box or accepting your appointment at the clinic, you agree to the terms and conditions of this policy.

COVID Symptoms
You should not attend the clinic if you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 infection. Common COVID symptoms include:
- fever,
- cough,
- difficulty breathing,
- or sore throat
The appointment will be rescheduled for 14+ days, or until you have been tested and cleared for treatment by your GP.
Equally, if have been in close contact with a confirmed coronavirus case, then you should not attend the clinic. Your appointment will have to be rescheduled for 14 or more days, or until you have been tested and cleared for treatment by your GP.
Attend alone
When planning your visit to the clinic please ensure to attend your appointment on your own where possible. If you’re travelling with a companion, adhere to social distancing guidelines by making sure they are a cohabiting person/family member. Your travelling companions are not allowed in the clinic premises and must wait outside for you.
Please attend your appointment carrying with you minimal personal belongings.
On Arrival
when you arrive at the clinic, please wait outside and telephone 018278766 to confirm that it is suitable for you to enter.
The waiting room is no longer available. You’re expected to wait outdoors or in your car until permitted to enter .
You may be asked to wait outside for a short time to allow for previous patient to exit and for proper cleaning of the consultation/treatment room to be carried out.
Inside the Clinic
Once inside the clinic, you will be asked to use the hand sanitiser and your temperature will be taken and recorded using contact-free thermometer. A brief medical assessment will be carried out.
When inat the clinic please avoid physical social contact (e.g. hand shaking) and refrain from touching equipment, door handles or surfaces.
Rapid Covid-19 Test
When deemed necessary, for example appointments lasting more than 15 minutes the doctor will administer DropTech Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Detection Test (RATDT). The cost of the test is €20 in addition to your consultation / treatment fees.
Rapid antigen detection tests performed at the clinic are reserved for patients availing of clinic services. RADT Performed at the time of your visit measures if a you have high enough SARS-CoV-2 viral load to pose infection risk to others.
Payment
In an effort to reduce contact, we no longer accept cash payment at the clinic. We kindly ask if you pay for your treatment by card or IBAN where possible.
