The SARS-COV2 virus and the associated COVID-19 disease have caused immense social, financial and personal disruption to the way we operate our clinic. Castleknock Cosmetic Clinic has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that our doctors and staff are ready to provide care and treatments to their patients in the safest and most efficient way possible.
We have enacted this COVID POLICY and implemented safe patient guarding procedures in response to COVID-19. You will be sent a link to this policy prior to attending your appointment at our clinic. In accepting your appointment, you have agreed to the new terms and conditions of this policy.
1- If you are experiencing any flu like symptoms associated with COVID19 infection to include:
- difficulty breathing,
- or sore throat
then you should not attend for your appointment. The appointment will have to be rescheduled for 14+ days, or until you have been tested and cleared for treatment by your GP.
2- If have been in contact with a confirmed coronavirus case, then the appointment will have to be rescheduled for 14+ days, or until you have been tested and cleared for treatment by your GP.
3- When planning your visit to the clinic please ensure to attend your appointment on your own where possible. If you’re travelling with a companion, adhere to social distancing guidelines by making sure they are a cohabiting person/family member. Your travelling companions are not allowed in the clinic premises but can wait outside for you.
4- Please attend your appointment carrying with you minimal personal belongings.
5- To reduce congestion at our clinic’s waiting room, on arrival outside, please telephone 01 8278766 to confirm that it is suitable for you to enter.
6- You may be asked to wait outside for a short time to allow for previous client to exit and proper cleaning of the consultation/treatment room to be carried out.
7- On arrival, you will be asked to use the hand sanitiser and your temperature will be taken and recorded using a contact-free thermometer.
8- When in the clinic there will be no social physical contact (e.g. hand shaking) and please refrain from touching equipment, door handles or surfaces.
9- The waiting room has been changed to accommodate a maximum of two people at a time. When in the waiting room, if there is one patient already there, please ensure that you sit on opposite sides of the room to maintain a two-metre distance.
10- In an effort to reduce contact, we would ask that you pay for your treatment by card where possible.
