Post Tummy Tuck Dilemma

Results & Recovery
Small incisions will be made into the skin, and a special fluid is injected into the fatty tissue to minimise pain and bleeding. A suction device, called a VASER disrupts the unwanted fat which is then removed using a tiny cannula. After the procedure, these incisions are deliberately left open to release unwanted fluid called “seepage”. The more seepage one exudes the better and faster your recovery is. It is expected for two to three days.
After the procedure the patient are prescribed a compression garment for a few weeks. Mild discomfort and bruising may last up to two weeks and swelling may last for two weeks to four weeks. During the post operative recovery patients are advised to mobilise early and return to normal daily activity within a couple of days.
